In the messaging menu, the text of the "Chat" and "Mail" items does not
line up with the text of the "Broadcast" and "Pidgin" items.
I assume this problem would happen for any indicator-applet menu with
icons, in which case it's an indicator-applet bug in general rather than
an indicator-me bug in particular.
Just as the text of all items with zero icons should line up with each
other, the text of all items with one icon at the leading end should
line up with each other, regardless of the width of that icon.
(This bug is independent of bug 537312, which is about special
indentation of icon-less items in the messaging menu in particular, but
it may make that bug easier to fix.)
