That's interesting. Looking at the exo-tree-view.c file, I gather the
impression that exo_noop_false would be required to prevent gtk from
deselecting rows other than the clicked one. However, in practice I am
not able to replicate this with the exo patched libexo-0.3.so.0.5.0
mentioned earlier. Over the last few days I have tried all manner of
multiple select drag n drop routines with the patched exo in Lucid, and
have not encountered any anomalies in Thunar's behaviour. The only
difference apparent is the eradication of bug 520118. So I wonder why
this kludge isn't breaking multiple-select drag n drop for me? I'm
guessing that exo_noop_false has served its purpose once the select
function is reset to NULL. Anyway, I'm finding the patched exo to be the
lesser evil so far, hopefully a real fix will come along soon.
