This bug can be closed, as the upstream bug was rejected. Rationale is that gstc4l2xoverlay.c is not used and not functional as is. On short term, for OMAP we are maintaining a derived working version. On longer term, a working v4l2 plugin will likely be moved to gst-plugins-bad.
