Hey guys,
  an addendum...
I have used both mac and pc with linux... the statement about global menu
applies to mac as well... on a wide screen and especially on dual monitors...it
is a very bad design at its basic concept...
Productivity is severely compromised with global menu / mac menus...on
larger real estate set ups like dual monitors, so many, as I mentioned on the
previous post, are not going to be using Unity at all...which brings me back to
  ...why not two releases??
Unity 1 and Natty..
It relieves the pressure to solve a bug on unity that was caused by changing
something in gnome and visa versa.
Unity is strictly netbook...not for desktops ..
The combination of both on one release only suggests more problem solving than
would normally be necessary or desired.
