Trying to use evince over X11 forwarding via ssh -X:

$ ssh -X sec-xenial-amd64 evince sp800-38a.pdf
Failed to connect to Mir: Failed to connect to server socket: No such file or 
directory
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused
Cannot parse arguments: Cannot open display: 

Client is running 14.04 LTS, unity7 desktop.
Server is running a recent Xenial.
