The file in /usr/lib and /usr/local/lib are both identical. I kept the
old one in a separate folder and it has the same sha1sum. But the file
in /usr/lib seems to be spurious as well, since it is not associated
with any package and variants with newer timestamp of libsqlite3.so.0
persists in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ and /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/,
Nautilus still works after having moved /usr/lib/ libsqlite3.so.0 into
quarantaine as well as well.

diff by the way also works also on binaries, it only echos "binary files
differ" for files that differ, instead of printing the actual difference
on screen.

Anyway, thanks for the tip to resolve the problem.
