It's usually the gsconnect extension that causes leaks (bug 1812892) but
other extensions do too.

Please:

1. Run: gsettings set org.gnome.shell enabled-extensions "['ubuntu-
d...@ubuntu.com', 'ubuntu-appindicat...@ubuntu.com']"

2. Reboot.

3. Log in again and monitor the memory usage.
