No, I don't have any third-party extensions. ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ doesn't exist, so nothing was installed from extensions.gnome.org. The only extensions on the system come from the Ubuntu archive: - gnome-shell-ubuntu-extensions (the Ubuntu defaults: ding, ubuntu-dock, ubuntu-appindicators, tiling-assistant, snapd-prompting, snapd-search-provider, web-search-provider) - gnome-shell-extensions (the upstream GNOME set: apps-menu, window-list, user-theme, etc.). None of these were ever enabled. I've now uninstalled gnome-shell-extensions as well, logged out and back in, and the issue still happens.
It seems to only happen with native Wayland clients: launching VS Code with code . reproduces it, but with code . --ozone-platform=x11 (running through XWayland) the window no longer jumps back to its original screen -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2170716 Title: Windows jump back to their original monitor when refocused (Wayland, multi-monitor) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/2170716/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
