Debian/Ubuntu store the system-wide default in /etc/default/locale. It is a plain "source with /bin/sh" style file like ---------------------- 8< ----------------- $ cat /etc/default/locale LANG="de_DE.UTF-8" LANGUAGE="en" LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8 ---------------------- 8< ----------------- Martin -- Martin Pitt | http://www.piware.de Ubuntu Developer (www.ubuntu.com) | Debian Developer (www.debian.org) _______________________________________________ desktop-devel-list mailing list desktop-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/desktop-devel-list
