[desktop-discuss] Firefox 3 ignores Gnome's font settings

Hello,

Firefox ignores Gnome's font settings which I've set to full
hinting, fonts are thus really blurry. I'm not sure why this is
as it appears to be linked to system freetype. Is this a known
problem?
This happens with the stock Firefox that comes with snv_98 as
well as with the contributed 3.0.1 build on mozilla.org.
