Hi Michael, This seems to be a known bug for printing backend. If you're using the contributed Firefox 3.0.x package(for S10), could you check whether there is a libprintbackend-cups.so in /opt/sfw/lib/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/printbackends? Please remove it and run Firefox again if there is one.
As tracked in the bug database, this issue has been fixed in OpenSolaris b96. Not sure about the plan for S10 backport. If the bug still exists, then there should be another bug for printing.
