Hi Michael, Like ken suggested, could you please try the latest Firefox 3.0.3. Just tried this on my SPARC box with Solaris 10 U5 under the same locale(en_US.UTF-8), Firefox could be started and run successfully. But it's a little bit slow here with flash enabled, especially for a rich content website.
BTW, could you reproduce this crash every time? How is the stack for your core? There might be some problem for the Java Plugin and no test for this area. Michael E.
