Hi, I have noticed the exact same problem you described. All the permission I had checked were suddenly gone in the user and group manager GUI Sometimes the shutdown option under the System menu also disappears Don't know if the bug is just in the GUI or in the role model backend. First thing I always do after a new install to get a normal root that you can su to or login to is: # rolemod -K type=normal root Then, I install sudo from the companion CD packages.
