Hi Nipka,
S10 8/07 (s10u4) starts to support EMEA keyboard layout emulation.
If you turns on input method (ctrl+space is default trigger for it)
in EMEA UTF-8 locale, then locale dependent keyboard layout emulation
starts to work. AltGraph/MultiKey will also work as it's on
emulated keyboard layout (used for input the right side of characters
on the emulated layout key top).
The trigger keys (default ctrl+space) can be customized with
iiim-properties, but changing the key for AltGraph/MultiKey is
not supported.
I'd like to answer your query but not sure what's your problem is
exactly, so please let me ask some questions.
1. What's your login locale?
2. What's your physical keyboard language?
3. What are your target languages to input with input method?
4. What's your seeing strange behavior and
your favorable behavior for it?
Thanks,
Naoyuki

Subject: [desktop-discuss] Problem with changing languages

I have sun keybord type 7 model. There is "Multi-key" on it. When i used
s10u4
11/06 everything was allright: i changed my language with it. But when i
installed s10u4 06/07 i discovered that
>input method switcher application, gnome-im-switcher-applet, is replaced with
>a stand-alone GTK+ application, iiim-panel
The behaviour of input method is now quite strange. To change language
now i
have to press Mode_Switch (Alt Graph).
I tried to change this in input method preferences (iiim-properties) but
the
only combination that works is standart "Ctrl+Space".
Does anybody have any ideas?
Ps I'm using UTF-8 locale.
