Hi,

Sorry for grouping all three things in one post (I thought it would be
better than doing the three as three seperate emails). Btw, my laptop is
a Lenovo Thinkpad T61p (6457-C74)

1) I have a cowon D2 player, the internal flash appears without any
problems on the desktop - the expansion slot (which I have an 8gb sd
card in) doesn't mount, instead the message "Unable to mount the volume
'EMPTY'" - however, when I go rmformat, it is there in all its glory.
it is formatted, and it works nicely - is there some way of forcing to
mount it on the desktop?

2) I've installed OpenSound for the sound - I followed the instructions
on a previous post about passing arguments using ossmix to stop the
squeaking that occurs, however, when I go 'savemixer' when I reboot, the
settings are retained and the high pitched squeaking returns.

3) I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed, however, when at the CDE
login screen I choose to login via console the whole screen goes blank
(and thus leaving me SOL). The same thing also occurs when I reboot
(init 6); on my desktop it shuts down gracefully, closes off xserver,
shows the progress in the console. What I get with my laptop is the same
sort of blank screen - is this a known issue with Nvidia drivers?

Many thanks in advance,

Matthew
