I am running with Compiz enabled now on my Solaris NV B87 :
AMD Athlon64 X2 4800+ ( 2.4 Ghz )
2 GB RAM
10.000 rpm 150 GB system DISK
1920x1200 monitor
Nvidia geforce 8600GTS 256 MB GPU.
8500 + FPS with default glxgears window.
Window min/max operations and move window is fast
But
Window resize is horribly slow and one of the CPU cores can
peak
at 90% for a second from having been almost idle
while calculating a window resize .
Something could be wrong in the windows resize code ??? !!!
