Seems to be a slight problem with the 3b instructions below. The pkg
issue of not letting you override it, I have hit more than once since
OpenSolaris pkg or pkgadd -A will not give me a veto.

root at motie:/var/tmp# more /etc/release

Assembled 19 November 2008

root at motie:/var/tmp# pkg uninstall SUNWfirefox
Creating Plan /pkg: Cannot remove
'pkg:/SUNWfirefox at 0.5.11,5.11-0.101:20081119T220640Z' due to
the following packages that depend on it:
pkg:/slim_install at 0.1,5.11-0.101:20081119T235636Z
pkg:/SUNWgnome-help-viewer at 0.5.11,5.11-0.101:20081119T221715Z

So to see if I can install 3.1b3 in a directory of choice but I did not
let it get that far since it appears to be looking for packages not
listed in the instructions. Any corrections on the desktop-discuss alias
which I am not on ?
