Matt, Does metacity make use of the Nvidia 9600GT features? I note a speed difference when I switch from None to Normal. Normal is much more reponsive.
I wil try Normal visual effects option and see how it does. I hope the next release of OpenSolaris will improve things. I really like what I see in OpenSolaris. We used to be all Sparc/Solaris shop then switched to Linux. I am hoping that OpenSolaris will become my technical desktop. Thanks for the help and quick response!
