Sorry for the plug, but it is a good cause. I would like to encourage people to consider becoming Friends of GNOME. Sun has a longstanding relationship with the GNOME community and Sun engineers were responsible for doing much of the work related to making GNOME accessible to blind users and users with mobility impairments.
If you love GNOME on OpenSolaris or otherwise, then I hope you learn more about what the GNOME Foundation does and how it helps make GNOME possible. The GNOME Foundation has some exciting projects planned for 2009, which you can check out at the following website: http://www.gnome.org/friends/ The GNOME Community just invested a lot of energy in revamping the Friends of GNOME website and program, so I hope the OpenSolaris community checks it out.
