Just tried on my OpenSolaris 2009.06 snv_111a X86 box. The font change
persists with a restart. The prefs.js in the profile directory has been
updated to include:
user_pref("font.default.x-western", "sans-serif");
user_pref("font.name.sans-serif.x-western", "Helvetica");
user_pref("font.size.variable.x-western", 12);
Does the user have the write permission to prefs.js file? Is this
problem reproducible with a new profile?
