You can buy WMA/WMV/MP3 codecs for Solaris at Fluendo's webstore: http://shop.fluendo.com/ I know Fluendo is currently working on providing MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 codecs for Solaris, and they hope to have them available by the end of the year. That gets Solaris a step closer to providing DVD support since most DVD vidoes are encoded with MPEG-2. So, we are getting closer to having reasonable media support for GStreamer-based media applications (totem, rhythmbox, Songbird) on Solaris. I don't know of any definate plans to provide similar codecs directly from Sun, but it wouldn't surprise me if Sun were to make them more directly available in the future. Brian
