I'm using the [Sound] application in the [Preferences] menu as a test. It will produce an audio tone with the [Test] button. This all works correctly in Nevada build 101 until I move the audio slider that appears when I select the speaker icon in the lower bar. Moving the slider stops the sound. Nothing I can do on the desktop will restore it. Logging out and in again doesn't help. Only rebooting the computer restores the audio.
