Just for S&Gs, I tried using the BlastWave libs for GTK, but Firefox hangs on
the "Software Licence Agreement" window.

I accomplished this with a quick edit to the firefox wrapper script:

<<<===---  SNIP  ---===>>>
#moz_libdir=/usr/local/lib/firefox-3.0
 moz_libdir=/opt/firefox-3.0

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$moz_libdir:/opt/csw/lib
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
<<<===---  SNIP  ---===>>>

Trussing it out shows this:

<<<===---  SNIP  ---===>>>

I am not much of a programmer, but I am willing to bet the "Err#62 ETIME" is
significant.
