All the Motorola DCH/DCT DVR's that Comcast uses have Firewire. I think they also have a non-dvr model that is not available in my area (but rents for nearly the same price as the dvr). Its the only way to get encrypted QAM into mythtv without an analog capture. I use the HDHomerun for clear QAM. This message posted from opensolaris.org
