I was referring to the demand for Xprint functions in Motif being low - not
Motif itself.

The demand we're seeing for Motif libraries is to allow binary compatibility
of existing Solaris Motif apps, and only the current Solaris Motif binaries
will do that - I don't believe either OpenMotif or Lesstif are 100% binary
compatible.

Certainly someone who wants to build new applications using an open source
Motif-like library is welcome to use those, but that's not the problem we're
trying to solve (and not a path we especially encourage people down given
both GTK+ & Qt are better maintained, modern toolkits with support for
features such as accessibility helpers that Motif lacks).
