Hello.... The GTX 280 and Nvidia 9x00 series will work if you are using the 177.82 drivers. I know around 173.14.x things were working better (sometime around SXCE b93-98) with the Quadro FX 5x00 card (I used to get weird X issues during installations).
Both Second Life and FlightGear seem to work fine with a Nvidia GTX 280. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
