Hi,

I recently installed SXDE 09/07. While installing the installer stated an
error. So I decided to update the previous installation and this went
fine. (so far I think ;-))

But now I have the strange problem that I can only log in as root. When
I want to log in with my ordinary user account GNOME does not start and
I fall back into the login screen (as long as I choose root)

Maybe something has been scrapped regarding the users information.
Either solaris does not know about this account, or it has inefficient
rights to log in.

Maybe someone has suggestions on this topic and could dive into this
problem with me. Or would it be better to reinstall? Thanks in advance.

Regards
Roman
