No, the Xorg server sources have been mostly the same as Linux (with a small
number of patches, much like you do for GNOME) for the past 3 years.

Ah, if you mean the client libraries, and not the Xserver as you stated,
we're still working on updating our libraries from our X11R6 forked versions
to X11R7.   Indiana of course went straight to the X11R7 versions, and found
a number of incompatibilities in the process, that we're working to fix there
and prevent in Nevada by taking a bit more time to port the required changes
from the old Solaris sources to the new ones.
