That's just the way opensource is. Nobody has to respond unless they want to, or have the time, or they know who you are. You've sent a single email three days ago and was ignored? Hah, I've spent several months and submitted a number of Solaris-unrelated patches to the HAL mailing list until people started to pay attention. If I could give one advice, it would be: code is king; don't ask questions, send patches. Even if your code is rejected, it is more likely to cause some kind of response. -Artem
