Some of the Sun folks who've blogged about tackling various performance issues: http://blogs.sun.com/jmr/entry/jds_gnome_performance_leaner_meaner http://blogs.sun.com/alvaro/entry/performance_meeting_speeding_up_gnome http://blogs.sun.com/bnitz/entry/guadec_6_gnoptimization_talk_and http://blogs.sun.com/johan/entry/gnome_versus_cde_performance_on You can track, and contribute to, the community's work here: http://live.gnome.org/GnomePerformance?action=show&redirect=Performance http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/performance-list Cheeri, Calum. -- CALUM BENSON, Usability Engineer Sun Microsystems Ireland mailto:calum.benson at sun.com Java Desktop System Team http://blogs.sun.com/calum +353 1 819 9771 Any opinions are personal and not necessarily those of Sun Microsystems
