The only reason is that it wasn't written that way (; My excuse is that it was originally written to help QA install new builds and nightlies easily. Having root access wasn't an issue. Seems quite easy to fix the script, but patches are gratefully accepted otherwise it'll have to wait until higher priority issues are cleared. (; Laca
