[desktop-discuss] Choppy audio on decent hardware

I wondered if that might have been the case since it was lots of windowing 
activities that were triggering it, so I turned Compiz off a few days ago, but 
it's still happening.
 
The graphics card is nvidia 6600 256MB if it makes a difference.
