Hello, Recently installed Opensolaris build 111b on an IBM T43 laptop. Everything works well except trying to enable the Compiz visual effects. Every time I try to do that, I get the white screen and have to escape out to back to the standard "None" option. I did some searching on Google and saw many articles regarding ATI drivers and Compiz. Some of these go back to 2008. I'm not sure if the the 111b build has the correct ATI driver and Compiz version and whether I have to run Xorg -configure to get Compiz working. Any help or direction you could provide to get this working (if it is even possible) would be greatly appreciated?
