[desktop-discuss] Does the Fluendo codecs play "everything"?

I know that fluendo.com sells codecs, but the question is, do the codecs play 
the majority of the formats available? Divx, Xvid, Mp3, Mp4, FLAC, etc etc? If 
they only play Xvid then I am not interested in fluendo codecs, I prefer VLC. I 
know VLC plays virtually all my media files. Do the fluendo codecs play a 
subset or a superset of the VLC formats? Can I play DVD files with fluendo, 
including DSS? Anyone knows?
