Alfred,
I tried your new FF3 package.
I've noticed that it has the side-effect that the Thunderbird package
now uses the new libraries, not the system ones:
libpangox-1.0.so.0 =>
/opt/sfw/lib/thunderbird/../libpangox-1.0.so.0
libpango-1.0.so.0 =>
/opt/sfw/lib/thunderbird/../libpango-1.0.so.0
libgobject-2.0.so.0 =>
/opt/sfw/lib/thunderbird/../libgobject-2.0.so.0
libgmodule-2.0.so.0 => /opt/sfw/lib/thunderbird/../libgmodule-2.0.so.0
libglib-2.0.so.0 => /opt/sfw/lib/thunderbird/../libglib-2.0.so.0
TB still works, but its behaviour and appearance changed, for example,
ths standard dialog boxes are not localized anymore.
Also, I'm a bit confused by all the files available there:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.0/contrib/solaris_pkgadd/
There is only one character of difference, dash or period, but the
content is not the same, not the same libraries versions, and not the
same origin if I understand correctly. Could it be made more clear?
firefox-3.0-en-US-solaris-10-fcs-i386-pkg.bz2
firefox-3.0.en-US-solaris-10-fcs-i386-pkg.bz2
Beside those remarks, I like FF3 on Solaris, thank you for your great work!
Laurent
