Indiana will eventually be blessed by Sun. This is what they are
recommending, though it's aimed squarely at developers for a while. SXDE is
the best middle ground, without being so old you lose functionality. The
majority of actual development is done on SXDE outside of ON. The KDE4/Qt4
port for example is built against a Sun donated system with SXDE, presumably
B82 or so, making 10 builds of backwards/forwards compatibility as bits from
Vermillion and OpenJDK also presumably are build against both platforms,
used interchangably. Using BFU archives for ON though is only recommended
on something like 3 builds, though I'm sure a few have built source on older
consolidations of OpenSolaris SX:XE. (Mainly SPARC users I'd suspect)

I didn't hear about B92 being skipped, already yelled at the JDS maintainer
on desktop-discuss for Sun being opaque with builds. Which I still think
they are, they didn't mention this anywhere accessible or easy to find for
external users.

If you like I could maybe load SXCE B90 -> B91 (lu) on my T30, but the disks
are almost trash so it's time consuming to get an OS + software loaded.
