I am stuck with getting X-Server to work with
my card to support 3D acceleration. It is an
integrated R300 from ATI within the ATI Xpress
1150 chipset. I currently have SXCE 94 installed.
I tried to reconfigure Xorg.conf with
# /usr/X11/bin/Xorg -configure
but this failed, because there is a lock file
(/tmp/.X0.lock) which blocks the reconfiguration.
I don't know if this file could be removed safely.
Issuing the above command while running in a fail-
safe mode, doesn't work either, because of missing
libraries. So is there any possibility to get the
accelaration to work?
