You can't run Xorg -configure while Xorg is running - if you're
using dtlogin (default on SXCE), logout and choose command line
login from the login screen - if you're using gdm (optional on
SXCE, default on 2008.05), run 'svcadm disable gdm' (and when you're
done 'svcadm enable gdm').
