Hi Rob,

Generally speaking, the pkg of Firefox 3.0.1 on mozilla.org is not  
supposed to replace the Firefox bundled with snv or OpenSolaris.
If you want to have the bundled Firefox 3, you should upgrade to newer  
snv or OpenSolaris builds.

For the warnings, the solution is, don't run firefox as root.
