I believe Solaris Express and OpenSolaris are more targeted to home users. S10 
is more targeted to Enterprise. I suspect there would be a greater need for VLC 
among home users. Therefore Solaris Express and OpenSolaris version of VLC 
would be great I think. I know I have seen lots and lots of queries on forums 
about VLC for Solaris with all codecs. For a mortal Solaris switcher, building 
VLC is highly non trivial.
