AFAIK this is the latest flash but given its track record, it wouldn't
surprise meif it was the problem...

This has been submitted as a bug and a core file is available for upload
there - http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=11068; attached
is the pstack for a different (smaller) core file.

I get lots of these:
(thunderbird-bin:7357): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: file gobject.c: line 2366: 
assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

but they seem to be harmless - seems to happen when Firefox loses focus ...
