Since b117, I've had a problem with the screensaver when it locks. I'm currently running b121 on a Dell 7400 with an nVidia Quattro card, with two monitors hooked up and a Sun Type6 keyboard hooked up via USB.
With b117, the password dialog would appear half on one screen and half on the other. The half on the second head would flicker very rapidly... like it's fighting for the Z-position with the blank area. Also, although the dialog box would appear quickly, the box would be very slow taking input... ten to fifteen seconds for the black dots to appear. Not per-keystroke, mind you... if I typed quickly, there'd be a 10-15 second pause, and then the "dots" would all appear over the course of about 3-4 seconds, and the screensaver would disengage. Sometimes it would never react... although the timeout bar would count down at a mostly-normal pace. The keystrokes would simply be lost. With b121, the dialog box will choose a head to appear centred on, not spread across both. It's solid on the first head, flickers madly on the second. The input problems remain regardless of which head it appears on. Has anyone else observed this behaviour? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
