Hey there -

I know this not exactly the appropriate forum, but I'm not sure which
would be more appropriate at this point, so I'll start here.

I have a phenom-II whitebox that's not able to run any of the more
recent opensolaris kernels.

http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=11101

is the bug I (re)submitted.

Essentially, it comes down to this... An attempted boot gives me this:
Booting from physical media (in a harddisk-less machine) couldn't load the
kernel. (In both cases the -kvs flag was used to the kernel$ grub argument).

64-bit mode gave this traceback:

Does anyone know what's happening with this bug, and is there any way we
can get a little focus on it? Surely, it's gotta be impacting lots of
folks by now...

Or - Am I, and the original bug submitter, and a friend or 3 of mine the
only ones feel this pain?

Nathan.
