I would like to see a financial package, preferably GnuCash. The ability manipulate the network settings. It seems to be a PIA to go from DHCP to a static address. I usually just run sys-unconfig right after the first boot. When booting, an option to see what the system is doing. I like the flashy desktop, nice eye candy, but I would like to see what is actually happening. I would like to see more multimedia applications, adour, soundfont, mixing like PulseAudio, etc. Jackd?
