[desktop-discuss] b128 Slow OpenSolaris - sound issue??

When I download some torrents, everything laggs a lot. Can this be becuase of 
the buggy sound driver? Can a buggy sound driver Boomer sink the whole kernel? 
I have a quad 9450 and 4GB ram so there is pplenty of horse power.
