I had problems with the keyboard / mouse getting stuck for several seconds since several builds. Especially when writing to (compressed) zfs. But sometimes even on an apparently idle machine - though I think that the kernel will flush changed data asynchroneously in the background, which causes the problem. On my Tecra S1 laptop, the putback for 6881015 in build 129 has made a *huge* difference with interactive performance and gzip compressed zfs filesystems. For the first time ever, I'm able to use gzip compressed zfs with good interactive performance while the system is writing to zfs. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
