I looked at the bug 6912450, and the workaround for OpenSolaris is: $ pfexec /usr/sbin/unlink /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/GL $ pfexec ln -s ../../../../../var/run/opengl/server /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/GL I did this, then rebooted and tried to log in and it hung again. Latest Xorg.0.log attached. Feel free to ssh to stard.sfbay.
