hello all,
i have a sun ultra20 with b129 (b130 is too unstable, as sometimes login
process is hanging and user has to reboot).
A hp1300 is connected on the ultra20.
On a laptop, i have b130 and want to print on the hp1300, without
creating a file /etc/cups/client.conf containing:
ServerName ultra20
On the b130 machine, after specifying cups as print service, i'm trying
to use "Print Manager" in Administration It shows me the correct
printer, locating on the print server ultra20, but when i try to print,
it fails:
"Not connected? Printer 'hp-LaserJet-1300' may not be connnected
On the client side:
gerard at b130:/tmp$ lpstat -t

Why the ipp-listener is disable? i'm unable to enable it, it is enabled
only when choosing LP as print service (but it seems that there is
something on port 515 and 631 according netstat)
What am i missing?
Thanks in advance for help,
gerard
