Bug description:
On intrepid, when I deactivate the fglrx driver through jockey and
then use ctrl-alt-backspace to restart X, I get a completely garbled
screen (see screenshot). At that moment, ctrl-alt-delete doesn't work,
ctrl-alt-backspace gives the same result again, and ctrl-alt-f1 seems
to put the monitor to sleep or get no signal. I could get out of the
situation by pressing ctrl-alt-backspace and then immediately ctrl-
alt-delete. Usplash shutdown screen showed normally then. After
restarting the pc, all was back to normal. This is on a system with an
  ATI HD 3200.
