Title:
Online videos get out of sync, cause 120% CPU usage

Status in “firefox” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Certain online videos aren't working correctly. The video slows down
and the audio gets out of sync. Top shows firefox using more then 120%
of the cpu. Firefox menus become slow, scrolling is difficult,
switching windows is painful. The problem bleeds to other applications
and the GUI. Closing Firefox does not return things to normal, nor
does simply restarting the OS. The system needs to be shutdown for 10
secounds or more for the problem to disappear.
